What is preventive botox?
It involves doing botox treatment on the muscles that cause expression wrinkles (dynamic wrinkles) long before they are permanently marked. In this way, when these muscles are relaxed, the appearance of these wrinkles is avoided or delayed. It is more a preventive treatment than a curative one since, once the wrinkle is marked, it is very difficult that only with botox disappears.
Is there any type of contraindication?
Absolutely Botox is a product that has been used for many years for other medical indications (statism, muscle spasticity, migraines …), even at earlier ages, and is not counterproductive. The only thing that can produce, in some cases, is resistance to the product and, therefore, that it has less and less effect.
It has no effect on sagging and is not a filler material. Botulinum toxin treatment is one more procedure of the many aesthetic procedures aimed at improving facial aesthetic appearance. It is not a definitive solution, nor is it the cure for aging but they say that prevention is better than cure 🙂
