Wrinkles

Today we are going to talk about wrinkles. It’s an interesting subject because unfortunately, in time all of us will fall victim to them… We are going to give some recommendations on how to prevent them and also how to reduce them.

When we’re young we don’t have wrinkles because our skin still stretches and produces the correct amount of moisture it needs to stay healthy. Our skin has elasticity thanks to fibers called elastane, that make our skin look and feel young. A protein in our dermis called collagen also contributes to preventing wrinkles.

As the time passes, our skin looses elastin and collagen, and it gets thinner and the skin finds it harder to conserve the moisture it needs. The healthy fat under our skin, which gives it it’s smoothness, also begins to disappear, the epidermis begins to deteriorate and wrinkles form.

Unfortunately, there is no magic potion that will make wrinkles disappear. Lots of girls in their early 20’s have wrinkles around their eyes from squinting too much or from spending too much time in the sun. Others don’t get wrinkles until they are in their 50’s or 60’s, because they have looked after their skin and their skin produces more natural oils. Every person is different, and genetics can play a large part in how many wrinkles we get, but we can sill try and look after our skin.

Here are some recommendations and tips to prevent wrinkles:

.Always keep your skin hydrated
.Try not to expose yourself directly to the sun
.Always use suncream
